Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore life, faith and meaning in a relaxed, non-threatening setting over seven thought-provoking weekly sessions. Sometimes it's easier not to ask questions but on Alpha we think life is worth exploring, so your questions are welcome no matter how 'out there' they are. It's fun, relaxed and totally no pressure (that's why over 30 million people worldwide have already done it).

Who is it for?
Got lots of meaningful questions? Never really understood the Christian faith or been to church? Maybe you gave up on it a long time ago or want to explore more of what it means to be a Christian. Alpha was designed for you, or anyone who doesn't go to church much, if at all.

What's so great about it?
Ever wanted to explore the meaning of life or ask challenging questions about the Christian faith? Maybe you're just curious about church stuff and want to have a nosy? Alpha doesn't care about your background, it welcomes all those big questions and it's FREE. Can't say fairer than that right?

How does it work?
Alpha (& Alpha Online) is made up of small 'break-out' groups (on Zoom if online) of about 6-8 people with a small group leader. In each session (there are 7 altogether) there is a short film, from the 'Alpha Film Series', and then a chat with your small group about the film and the questions it may raise! All questions welcome!

How much is it?
There's no charge to do Alpha. Course manuals can be provided to you at the next Alpha (without any cost).
